EVOHK artist-run space presents Forms of Expression, a group art exhibition, opening on Friday. At the Larnaca venue, the exhibition showcases the works of nine local artists from different disciplines, composing an experimental multi-sensory environment of coexistence and dialogue between the creators, their artworks and their interactions with the public.

Running until January 7, the exhibition will remain open almost daily, even on the afternoon of Christmas day. Participating in Forms of Expression are artists Andreas Kalli, Eirene Constantinou, Stavroula Gregoriou, Nona Michael, Michalakis Georgiou, Dimitris Pieri, Rona Mikellidou, Andriana K, and Com.el.sand. Paintings, ceramic vessels and sculptures from glass, wood and polyester, digital art and photography, light and sound installations make up the group exhibition.

Showcasing multiple art techniques and forms is an element EVOHK likes to include in their actions. The venue shifts form and function to support an open framework for experimentation, collaboration and dialogue between the artist and society across a broad spectrum of disciplines.

“EVOHK,” say the organisers, “designs and facilitates art exhibitions, music and theatre performances, film screenings, workshops and artist talks, interactive and cultural meetings, pop-up shows etc. Our mission is to nurture collective creative thinking and practice, to build active networks for collaboration and dialogue and to promote contemporary and traditional artistic production in the city and abroad.”
