For yet another year, Lidl Cyprus is standing by society and fellow human beings in a meaningful way. Staying true to its vision for a better tomorrow, Lidl Cyprus is showing its support towards the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society by covering all expenses of the charity organisation’s two big concerts, ‘200 Guitars with Kostas Hatzis and Michalis Hatzigiannis’.

During these special charity events, the Cyprus Guitar Orchestra will present the biggest guitar performance ever held in Cyprus, together with two of the biggest stars of the Greek and Cypriot music scene, under the artistic direction of Antonis Koizas, and the direction and orchestrations of Antonis Mytakidis. Concert soloists will be Stelios and Giorgos Golgaris and the Cyprus Guitar Trio, while professors and students from universities, conservatories and music schools will also participate.

The concerts will take place on Saturday, January 28, at Nicosia’s Municipal Theatre, and on Sunday, January 29, at Limassol’s Patticheio Theatre, with Lidl Cyprus as proud sponsor.

Tickets may be purchased through Tickethour.

For 10 years now, Lidl Cyprus has consistently supported the great work of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society by fully covering the food programme of the Arodafnousa Palliative Care Centre, as well as the running costs of two rooms at the Centre, while also frequently holding fundraisers and charity events that also gather resources for the Society’s efforts.

In fact, at the January 2023 concerts, Lidl Cyprus will announce the amount raised at its last fundraiser, in which the Lidl Plus digital card played a chief role.

In maintaining such support, Lidl Cyprus draws inspiration from its timeless corporate values and distributes love and care to those who need it. In this undertaking, it has a lifelong friend and ally in the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, with whom it walks hand in hand, on the road to a better tomorrow.
