Human skull found in Koloni (updated)

Βρέθηκε Ανθρώπινο κρανίο στην Κολώνη Πάφος

A human skull found by a farmer in Koloni on Sunday will be sent for specialised examinations, Paphos police spokesman Michalis Nicolaou said.

He said the owner of a livestock unit between the villages of Koloni and Marathounta found the human skull outside his premises at about 10am.

Nicolaou said it was believed that it was brought there by stray dogs.

Paphos police officers, with the assistance of detection dogs and volunteers of the Civil Defence are in the process of conducting a search of the area.

No time of death was specified, but the skull did not appear to belong to someone who died very recently, Nicolaou said.
