Four people who were arrested on Wednesday prior to the Cypriot Cup final between Ael and Omonia at GSP Stadium appeared in front of the Nicosia district court on Thursday.

According to a police statement, the four individuals were charged after they were found in possession of explosive materials, such as flares and smoke bombs, before the game.

The cases against them have been scheduled for trial in June and July.

In the meantime, the court issued orders prohibiting their entry into any sports venue or event until their cases are resolved.
