More than 100 migrants brought ashore

A total of 116 irregular migrants were brought ashore aboard three boats on Monday, with three more boats still at sea.

According to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA), a total of six boats were spotted off the coast of Cape Greco, with police successfully bringing three of the boats to the Ayia Napa marina.

There were 30 people aboard the first boat, 24 aboard the second, and 62 aboard the third.

Once safely ashore, the details of all 116 people aboard were taken.

Two of the remaining three boats are expected to be brought ashore later in the evening, while the sixth boat is still at sea.
