Two defendants charged for the double murder in Arakapas earlier this year pleaded not guilty on Friday to premeditated murder.
Appearing at Limassol criminal court, the two defendants, aged 19 and 23, denied all 10 charges faced for the killing of Andreas Kouzoupis and David Chmelar, aged 39 and 38.
The victims were shot in the head and their bodies set on fire in a car on July 31. Their charred remains were found in the vehicle on a dirt road between Pareklissia and Kelaki.
Both are being held in the central prisons and face charges including premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, arson, the use of a firearm as well as its possession and transport. They also face charges for supplying drugs.
In a previous hearing, the defendants blamed each other for the murder.
The 19-year-old pointed to one of the victims as their dealer.
Court will reconvene for trial in April.
