The Limassol Sirens, the women’s touch rugby team of the Limassol Crusaders Rugby Football Club, delivered a commanding performance at Stage 3 of the ISX Championship, held at Spazio Sports Club in Nicosia. The Sirens were unstoppable, securing victories in all four of their matches and conceding only a single try throughout the tournament.

Their results showcased their dominance:
Limassol Sirens Vs. Paphos Wildcats – 2-0, 1-0
Limassol Sirens Vs. Larnaca Spartans – 6-1, 7-0

This remarkable defensive and offensive display reaffirms the Sirens as a powerhouse in Cyprus touch rugby. Their success comes at a historic moment for women’s rugby in Cyprus, as the 2024/25 season marks the launch of the country’s first official Women’s Championship. This milestone reflects the Cyprus Rugby Federation’s commitment to fostering the growth and development of women’s rugby, paving the way for future generations of female athletes.

With only one final round remaining in May, the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the season. The championship winner will be determined in what promises to be an exciting and fiercely contested finale.
