Renowned for his expressive musicianship and virtuosity, Antoine Morinière is a guitarist in high demand, performing worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician. This spring, Nicosia audiences will have the opportunity to witness his brilliance in a recital that will open the 19th Guitar Festival EGTA 2025, organised in collaboration with the Pharos Arts Foundation. Guitar enthusiasts and lovers of Spanish melodies, mark your calendars for April 25.

Having appeared in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Philharmonie de Bruges, Wigmore Hall in London, and Casa da Música in Portugal, Morinière has also been featured in major festivals including Bachfest Leipzig, the Paris International Guitar Festival and the London Guitar Festival.

Winner of the First Prize at the International Sevilla Guitar Competition, as well as numerous other international competitions, Morinière has established himself as a leading figure in the classical guitar world. This April, he returns to The Shoe Factory, with a unique recital briming with Spanish evocativeness and poetic lyricism – in works by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Isaac Albéniz, Joaquín Turina and Carlo Domeniconi.

Also part of the 19th Guitar Festival EGTA and making its Cyprus debut is the Molina Guitar Duo which will perform in Nicosia on April 26.
