Does a new season mean new failures? It is a concept that is a little hard to wrap our heads around. Usually, a new season – especially spring – means a fresh start, new opportunities and big ideas kicking off. But then, things might not go as planned, ideas flop, unexpected risks arise and reality hits hard.
That is the concept of a Limassol event that focuses on those moments of failure. Fuckup Nights returns this April 8 for raw, unfiltered stories about professional failures, lessons learned the hard way, and the resilience it takes to keep going.
The event series launched in spring 2024. Now, it returns for its fourth event called New Season, New Failures taking place at Library Bar on April 8 at 7pm, and in English. With a line-up of speakers, the event will share hilarious and painfully honest stories of failure, the hard lessons not taught in business school but learnt by playing the field.
“Real talk, real people, zero sugarcoating,” say the organisers. “This edition plays on contrasts – the hopeful energy of dreams versus the harsh truths of reality. Because when inspiration meets reality, things don’t always go as planned. And that’s where the best stories begin.”
