A 60-year-old man was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Nicosia on Friday evening. 

The accident occurred when the man was trying to cross the road on Petrou Eliadi Street in Latsia and was run over by a car driven by a 63-year-old woman.

The man was rushed to Nicosia general hospital, where it was determined that he had a fractured arm and a subarachnoid hemorrhage on the brain and was detained for hospitalisation.
