In this video, we take a pre-Covid look at Seattle, one of the most beautiful cities in America, which exploded into prominence relatively recently, with the rise of grunge music at the beginning of the Nineties.

Situated in perennially rainy Washington State, and nestled between ancient conifer forests, sprawling inland waterways, and imposing mountain ranges, it’s hard to find a city with more impressive surroundings than the Emerald City.

Here, thanks to its boundary-pushing grassroots movements, visitors can enjoy third-wave coffee shops, microbreweries with their casual tasting rooms and informal bookstores that remain unchanged in a city that birthed Amazon.

Among its must-see landmarks are, of course, Pike Place Fish Market, the Seattle Waterfront, the towering Space Needle, and snowy Mount Rainier – visible from many vantage points across the city, or a manageable two-hour drive away.
