In the last 24 hours, police booked 111 individuals and seven business owners for violating Covid restrictions.

Between 6am Wednesday and 6am Thursday, 11,175 checks were carried out. In Nicosia there were 29 people and one business booked. In Limassol 40 individuals and one premises were fined.

Larnaca saw 12 people and one premises booked and Paphos 16 people and four businesses.
In the Famagusta area, nine individuals were booked.
