Jamie Lynn Spears has broken her silence days after her sister Britney Spears made an emotional statement to a Los Angeles judge to terminate her conservatorship.

The former ‘Zoey 101’ star appeared to be defending herself against internet critics, suspicious of her silence, on the subject of her sister’s conservatorship.

Jamie said she has “only loved, adored and supported” her sister, since the day she was born.

“I’m so proud of her for using her voice. I am so proud of her for requesting new counsel, like I told her to do many years ago,” Spears added. “Not on a big public platform, but just in a personal conversation between two sisters.”
