The health ministry on Saturday said it will be opening telephone lines to facilitate the rescheduling of vaccination appointments for those who missed their appointments for the second dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine.
From Monday July 19, those wanting to reschedule their appointments for the second dose of the vaccine will be able to do so by calling either of the following numbers: 22 605 400, 97 710 101 and 97 710 202.
On the phone, they must cite their full name, ID number and date of birth, as well as the date and time of their appointment, the vaccination centre and type of vaccine.
They must also provide a telephone number, preferably a mobile number so that a text may be sent.
The previously provided email address [email protected] will no longer operate. Therefore all arrangements must be made over the phone.
Those needing to reschedule their appointment for their first dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine may contact the 1474 helpline in order to first cancel their original appointment.
After cancelling their appointment, they will be able to use the vaccination portal as normal to book a new one.
The ministry also reminded that the vaccination portal remains open for everyone aged 16 and over at all times.
