The article by Bejay Browne in the Sunday Mail of October 24 gives a slightly more hopeful sign of Cyprus having a crematorium. How wonderful it would be for many thousands of Cypriots and other residents who have been begging for a crematorium for years. Those of a religious belief who are against it need have nothing do with it. Savings on land, finance, pollution caused by flying bodies thousands of miles, grave maintenance, embalming, emotional stress, all these things would be helped enormously.
Please don’t let bureaucracy stand in the way of this commonsense development.
