Twenty-one-year-old arrested for drugs in Paphos

Paphos Police in the early hours of Tuesday morning arrested a 21-year-old man for illegal possession of drugs.

According to the police statement shortly after midnight, traffic police stopped a vehicle driven by the 21-year-old for a check.

The driver submitted to a drug test with a positive result and a quantity of cannabis was found in his possession.

The man was subsequently charged in writing for illegal possession of drugs and dismissed pending the results of laboratory tests.
