Police arrest two in Polis area for burglary

Two individuals were arrested for burglary, after they were found with knives, tools for breaking and entering, and stolen property, police said on Monday.

According to police in Paphos, the two men 28 and 26 were arrested on Sunday night in the Polis Chrysochou area, after a break in was reported in the area.

Police arrived at the scene and stopped two people in the area of the reported break in. During their checks, police found a knife, break and entering tools, and some jewellery suspected to have been stolen.

Both were arrested. Police also found a vehicle nearby the area the two men were arrested. The vehicle had been previously reported as stolen.
