Clouds will gather in the skies above Cyprus on Tuesday ahead of a cold snap which is set to hit the island on Wednesday and beyond.
The skies will be largely clear in the morning, but will soon darken and become grey, though Tuesday’s temperatures are set to hit highs of 19 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts and 11 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Overnight, rain and even the odd storm is possible, particularly in the west of the island, with snow set to fall on the Troodos mountains.
Temperatures will drop to five degrees Celsius inland, eight degrees Celsius on the coasts, and three degrees Celsius in the mountains, where frost will form in the morning.
Wednesday is expected to be significantly colder than Tuesday, with rain and storms also forecast, and more snow expected in the mountains.
The weather will clear up but remain cold on Thursday and Friday.
