Bcentriqe.ai, headquartered in Santa Clara (Silicon Valley), California, United States, has announced its strategic expansion into Cyprus.

According to an announcement by Invest Cyprus, the move “aims to empower youth and entrepreneurs with pioneering artificial intelligence solutions”.

The agency also said that Bcentriqe.ai’s decision “underscores its commitment to educate and recruit young people and entrepreneurs in Cyprus around artificial intelligence technologies”.

At the same time, the move “establishes Cyprus as a central hub for AI-based solutions and services connecting Greece, Europe, the Middle East and Africa”.

Bcentriqe.ai is described as a global company offering artificial intelligence solutions and consulting services that develops and provides advanced AI technologies, “enabling businesses to transform, innovate and thrive in an increasingly digital world”.

According to the announcement, Bcentriqe.ai’s investment in Cyprus will include the creation of a small office with data engineers and artificial intelligence professionals.

These teams, the announcement explained, “will collaborate with the local talent pool for training and hiring, aiming to serve the evolving needs of businesses in Cyprus and to accelerate upskilling initiatives for the Cypriot workforce”.

The decision by Bcentriqe.ai was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Nicodemos Damianou, Chief Scientist Demetris Skourides, chairman of Invest Cyprus Evgenios Evgeniou, the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus Sri Manish, the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States in Nicosia Daniel Mangis and the CEO of Bcentriqe.ai Alakh Verma.
