Police are continuing investigations into an attempted murder and the vandalism of a barbershop, which authorities believe may be connected incidents.
The latest incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, when masked assailants threw rocks at a barbershop on Anexartisias street, damaging its glass frontage.
Evidence from the scene has been collected for forensic examination.
Limassol assistant police chief, Lefteris Kyriakou, said investigations so far indicate that two perpetrators carried out the attack.
He confirmed that police are considering a possible link between the vandalism and the attempted murder that also took place on Anexartisias street on Saturday.
The barbershop belongs to a 30-year-old man who is wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a 36-year-old man at a local cafe.
The victim was reportedly attacked before being stabbed in the shoulder blade.
Kyriakou said the injured man remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit of a private hospital.
An arrest warrant is pending against the 30-year-old suspect, while police are also working to identify two other individuals believed to have been involved in the attempted murder.
Police admitted that it was too early to determine whether the incidents are linked to a vendetta.
Investigations into both cases remain ongoing.
