Two people were arrested on Wednesday for possession of drugs.
Acting on a tipoff, the police stopped a car in Limassol driven by a 27-year-old at 10.30am on Wednesday.
On searching the vehicle, the police found a total of 6g of cocaine, an ecstasy pill, precision scales and €2,010 in cash.
The police then searched the man’s house, where he resides with a 39-year-old woman.
During the search in the presence of the two suspects, the police found 29 packets of cannabis weighing a total of 293g, three precision scales with traces of cannabis and white powder, six containers with anabolic substances, €1,350 and $100 in cash, and other evidence.
The police then searched the woman’s car and found 40g of cannabis, 45g of mushrooms, 8g of cannabis resin, 7g of cocaine, 5g of ketamine, 16g of MDMA, 24 ecstasy pills and four e-cigarettes containing CBG.
Police investigations are ongoing.
