Coronavirus: Police break up birthday party in Limassol

Police uncovered an illegal birthday gathering at a restaurant in Germasogeia on Tuesday night and issued 14 fines, with the owner being fined €1,500.

The birthday party was attended by ten foreign nationals who were each fined €300 for breaking coronavirus health measures.

Three others sat at a table nearby were also fined €300 each.

A spate of similar incidents have been reported in the last couple of weeks, with the most recent case being that of an illegal club in Larnaca which had even hired three DJs.
