In this video, chiropractor Dr. Michael Rowe runs us through a series of exercises to soothe wrist pain – something many of us struggle with, due to our daily use of computer keyboards for work and recreation.

Firstly, he demos an effective wrist pain relief muscle, ligament and tendon massage technique to release tightness, helping provide wrist pain and carpal-tunnel syndrome relief.

Secondly, he shows us mobility exercises to increase range of motion in the wrist and hands. This is particularly good for dull aches in and around the carpal tunnel.

Thirdly, he teaches us self-mobilisation wrist exercises to loosen locked-up, stiff, scaphoid and lunate carpal bones in the hand (a major cause of wrist pain and carpal-tunnel syndrome).

And finally, he educates us in strengthening exercises to build up the area in and around the wrists, helping to minimise pain in the future.

All of the stretches and exercises shown can be performed at home, require no special equipment and will help bring relief whenever a quick wrist pain soothe is in order.
