Eight individuals and four Paphos businesses were fined for violations of Covid measures in a total of 2,967 checks across Cyprus in the last 24 hours.

In Nicosia, two people were fined after 1,273 checks while in Larnaca, no fines were issued after 536 checks. In Limassol, 179 checks led to one person being fined while in Paphos three individuals and four businesses were booked after 182 checks. In the Famagusta district, police carried out 343 checks and fined two people and in Morphou no violations were found after 141 checks.

Traffic Department and Marine Police conducted 294 and 19 checks respectively. No fines were given.
