A total of 5,730 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Saturday, the ministry of health announced on Sunday.

At the State Fair in Nicosia 787 people were jabbed at the E station and 1,287 at the B station. A further 24 people received the shot at home in the Nicosia district.

Meanwhile, in Paphos 626 people were vaccinated and 268 in Famagusta, and 952 in Larnaca.

In Limassol 1,270 people were vaccinated at the Spyros Kypianou centre and 516 at a pop-up vaccination unit in Pachna, where 22 people got the first dose, 43 the second and 490 the third.
