Yellow alert for thunderstorms on Sunday

The met service issued another yellow weather warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms on Sunday morning.

Hail may also fall in some areas, mainly inland.

The alert is in force between 11am and 6pm.

Meanwhile, temperature will rise to around 25C inland, 23C around the coast and 12C in the higher mountains.

At night, temperature will drop to around 11C inland, 13C on the coast and around 5C in the higher mountains.

As for next week, the met service isolated showers are also expected on Monday until Wednesday when the weather will be mostly cloudy.

Temperatures are expected to gradually rise through Wednesday to be close to average climatic values for the season.
