Two cars were set on fire early on Sunday morning in Limassol, which police are investigating as a possible arson attack.
Fire services spokesman Andreas Kettis said a fire truck was deployed at 3:46am outside of a residence, where the owner’s car was parked outside and was up in flames.
The car engine suffered extensive damages.
The second case was at 4:14am where a car parked at an apartment building was up in flames. A vehicle parked next to it suffered some damages, as did the parking space itself from the smoke and fire.
