President Nikos Christodoulides will fly out to Paris on Wednesday night to participate in the Ukraine summit, government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on Wednesday.

The summit, scheduled for Thursday, will be held as a “high-level multilateral meeting regarding the peace and security of Ukraine”, aimed at reaching a comprehensive peace agreement following recent ceasefire consultations between the US, Russia and the Ukraine.

On Friday, Christodoulides will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the bilateral relations between Cyprus and France, followed by another trilateral meeting between Christodoulides, Macron and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on the latest developments in Lebanon and the Middle East.
