Paphos criminal court on Tuesday issued an order for the state to seize the property of two men earlier convicted for possession of narcotics.
The court ordered the confiscation of €46,500 worth of property belonging to a 29-year-old man, and €106,200 for a 30-year-old man.
The first man had previously been found guilty on the charge of narcotics possession and sentenced to 10 years in jail; the second man was likewise found guilty of the same charge and sentenced to four years in prison.
The two had been arrested by the Drug Squad on February 14 last year. During the operation, police found a large quantity of narcotics in the possession of the two men, as well as €75,000 in cash.
