Hailstones fell in parts of Cyprus as storms hit the island on Thursday.

Thunder was heard across the island, with heavy rain falling across the country.

Hailstones fell in parts of the Larnaca and Nicosia districts, with the Larnaca suburb of Aradippou and the Nicosia suburb of Latsia on the receiving end of considerable amounts of hailstones.
