Temperature will rise to around 38C inland on Saturday, the meteorological department said in its daily statement.

The weather will be mostly fine over the weekend, with temperatures expected to record a slight rise to 38C inland, 33C in the south, east and north coasts and around 31C on the west coast. Temperature will average around 28C in the higher mountains.

At night, temperatures will drop to around 21C inland and on the north and west coasts, around 22C on the remaining coastal areas and 18C in the higher mountains.

From Sunday to Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear with temperatures gradually dropping to near average for the season.
