A cheque for €86,000 will be handed over to the government by the Pancyprian Volunteer Coordinating Council as a contribution to its fundraising efforts to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria earlier this year.

The cheque will be handed over to deputy government spokesperson Doxa Kommodromou on Monday at the presidential palace by three representatives of the council, a statement from the palace said.
