Vladimiros Tziortzis continues his EURONASCAR PRO campaign this weekend at the German Motorsport Arena Oschersleben .
The finals follow in mid-October in Belgium – with points counting double for the final ranking.
The Cypriot returns to a track where last year he was fast, but engine failure deprived him from victory in the championship.
“I’m positive that this weekend everything will go right again, like in the previous race in the Czech Republic where we covered a lot of ground and therefore after removing the two worst results to be in the top ten with a margin that can easily be overturned” says the 27-year-old Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsports driver.
He then adds: “I’m ready to fight for the maximum point gain. Last year I was 40 points in front before the race in Germany and at the end we lost the championship. This year I’m back with about the same points and I want to turn my fortunes around and make the turnaround after the advantage we had in the Czech Republic.”
The track is 3.696km long and drivers will complete 20 laps, each covering 73.92km.
Gold sponsor of Tziortzis’ effort is the company HTFX, while he is supported by ALCO Filters, ENEOS Motor Oil, Psaltis Auto Parts, Televantos Used Trucks, PrivenGAS, Sana Hiltonia and Daytona Raceway.
