PwC Cyprus this week honoured the academic achievements of five trainees who distinguished themselves in the associate chartered accountant (ICAEW ACA) examinations.

Prominent figures attended the award ceremony at the company’s Experience Centre, including PwC Cyprus CEO, Philippos Soseilos, and Chief People Officer, Anna Loizou, celebrating the trainees’ exceptional academic results.

The ceremony saw Georgia Hadjinicolaou recognised for her exceptional performance in the ACA Certificate Level exam, particularly in Accounting.  

Sofia Polycarpou was awarded for her excellence in the ACA Advanced Level exam, where she stood out in Strategic Business Management.  

Meanwhile, Nefeli Syricha was acknowledged for her success in the ACA Professional Level exam in Financial Accounting and Reporting. 

In addition, Stelios Kallinou and Antonio Antoniadis were both celebrated for their achievements in the ACA Professional Level exam, excelling in the subject of Taxation. 

Representatives from the ICAEW were also present, including Christiana Diola, Director for Europe and European Regions, and Anna Maria Piperidou, Senior Student Engagement and Stakeholder Executive for the region.  

During the event, PwC Cyprus CEO Philippos Soseilos expressed his pride in the trainees, saying that “we are immensely proud of all our trainees.” 

“Their success,” he said, “is a testament to their abilities and dedication, as well as to our commitment to nurturing talent.” 

“It also highlights the collective effort of trainers, mentors, and trainees in striving for both academic and professional excellence,” Soseilos concluded.
