Police are investigating a burglary in Larnaca jewellery shop, where items worth €15,000 were taken, it emerged on Sunday.

According to police, the burglary took place early Saturday morning, when masked individuals entered the shop through a hole in the ceiling from a previous burglary attempt.

Police said that the individuals eventually entered the shop and stole €15,000 worth of items.

The hole had been repaired hastily, after the last burglary attempt, which allowed the burglars to enter easily.

Police are searching for the suspects.
