‘Tis the season of Christmas markets and bazaars, the perfect time for gift browsing from local vendors and artists or simply enjoying a jolly day out and about. This month is full to the brim with festive artistic events and one of them is the Misfit Sundays Christmas Market, which will transform the industrial area of Engomi, Nicosia into a festive hub this Sunday.
From 12pm to 6pm, over 20 local sellers will set up stalls at Misfit Union selling their handmade products, vintage and second-hand items as the market takes place both outdoors and indoors. To put vendors and visitors in a good mood, DJ Jordi will be on the decks, playing groovy, uplifting tunes while MU Kitchen prepares delicious food and drinks.
“Since the first event in October 2023, the Misfit Sundays parties at Misfit Union have been the new exciting way to spend Sunday afternoons in the capital,” organisers say. “A special Christmas fair by one of Nicosia’s best healthy street food restaurants will be set up on December 15 and you won’t want to miss it!”
Apart from the street food, the market and the mulled wine, there will also be children’s activities, a bouncy castle, a ping pong table and arcade games. Plus, furry four-legged friends are welcome to join.
What’s more, the event will also support the non-profit organisation Generation for Change through a donation drive and by hosting their artisan sellers with their handmade products.
