Police on Monday arrested a 52-year-old man for child sexual abuse in the form of disseminating abuse online.

Investigations of the electronic crime unit led police to search his residence, after a warrant was issued.

Officers located nine computers which were seized as evidence to be subjected to forensic examination, which included five laptops and one tablet, a mobile phone, five USBs, one SD Card, and 15 digital data storage hard drives.

The suspect is being investigated for acquiring and possessing child pornography, gaining access to child pornography, and distributing child pornography.
