Two people, aged 48 and 36, were arrested on Wednesday, after police, acting on a tipoff, stopped two vehicles for investigations, which revealed about half a kilo of cocaine.
Police said the first car, driven by the 48-year-old, was stopped at 4.30pm on Wednesday on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway, near the Zygi exit.
The car was searched and police found two plastic bags containing a total of 363g of cocaine.
A half-smoked rolled cigarette containing cannabis, along with other evidence, were also confiscated.
A second car driven by the 36-year-old was then stopped in Limassol and a search produced a packet containing 100g of cocaine, 6g of a substance believed to be ketamine, an appliance for airtight sealing and two rolls of plastic bags.
Further investigations in an apartment storage facility produced a further 101g of cocaine.
Both suspects were arrested and placed in custody pending investigations.
