Two men, aged 28 and 25, were arrested in the north for masquerading as doctors, Turkish Cypriot police said on Saturday.
The police said the pair had between Tuesday and Friday been in the Mia Milia area, and had administered a serum treatment and offered other drugs.
Further investigations found that the pair had forged a prescription in the name of a private hospital and taken 27,000TL (€684) from their victim as an “examination fee”.
