A 57-year-old kiosk owner was arrested on Tuesday cigarettes and tobacco on which tax had not been paid were found in his premises in Larnaca.

During a coordinated operation to identify tax-free products at kiosks, police located and seized the undeclared smoking products.

They found 16 boxes of cigarettes, 1,170 grams of tobacco of various brands and 200 heated cigarettes.

The owner was arrested, fined and released.
