Police in Paphos arrested a 39-year-old man under suspicion of attempted murder and robbery, while three other persons were arrested for the offence of providing asylum to a wanted person.

According to Paphos Assistant Police Operations Director Michalis Nicolaou, on Sunday morning, following the evaluation and exploitation of information, officers conducted a coordinated operation at an apartment in the Tala area on the basis of a court search warrant, where they located and arrested a 39-year-old wanted man for the cases of robbery and attempted murder committed in Paphos on April 28 and 30, respectively.

Three more persons were found inside the apartment, a 31-year-old man and two women aged 31 and 37, who were arrested on court warrants for the offence of providing asylum to a wanted person.

Another individual aged 33 years old, who was arrested on 10/5/25, is still in custody for the same cases.
