Police arrested a man and a woman under suspicion of drug possession an announcement said on Sunday,

According to the announcement, on Saturday afternoon police executed a search warrant on the property of the 29-year-old man in Larnaca. There they found the 27-year-old woman and a plastic container with 333g of cocaine located in a cache on the furniture base in the bedroom bathroom. They also found €6,670, in various banknotes, a quantity of cannabis weighing approximately 1.8 grams, scale and scissors with traces of white substance and a crusher with traces of cannabis were found and seized as evidence.

The two persons were arrested and detained to facilitate investigations’.

The Larnaca District drug squad is continuing its investigations.
