The police are investigating an incident in which gunshots were fired at an office building on Ayios Andreou Street in Limassol, they said on Friday.
The shots were fired around 7.25pm on Thursday, with the police saying they had “rushed to the scene” to find that bullets had struck the glass façade of the building.
Closed-circuit surveillance cameras, which recorded the movements of the perpetrator, show that two shots were fired at the building, with the shooter having both arrived and departed on a large-capacity motorcycle.
The company housed in the offices was operational at the time the shots were fired, but the two employees present were in another part of the offices and were not injured.
Shots were previously fired at the same offices on February 7, though investigations did not yield a specific person.
The possibility of the two cases being related has not been ruled out.
