The Nicosia district court on Friday issued a property freezing order in the context of an investigation involving 8.5 kilograms of cannabis and the arrest of four suspects in Nicosia.

Vehicles valued at € 84,500, two properties worth € 126,800 and a sum of cash totalling € 20,635 were seized in the case.

The order was issued in cooperation between the anticorruption authority and the anti-money laundering unit (Mokas).

Five of the seized vehicles were located and transferred to a secure storage facility by the authorities.

Investigation into the case is ongoing.
