A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a holy relic from a church in the Nicosia district village of Pano Deftera, the police said on Saturday.

The woman was arrested on Friday evening and is expected to appear in court later on Saturday, with the thefts having been reported on November 29.
