The Animal Party and the Ecologist’s movement on Monday announced that they would collaborate for the May parliamentary elections and stand on the same ballot.

“We are united by respect for animals, the protection of the environment, and the need for a policy that truly serves people, animals and nature, based on one health and one wellbeing,” the animal party said.

The party underlined the current challenging political climate, stressing their joint approach was aimed at creating a “meaningful intervention.”

“We do not promise easy solutions. We promise clear positions, consistency, perseverance and substantive work,” it added.
