Ayia Napa mayor Christos Zannetou visited army camps and guard posts in the area on Holy Wednesday, ahead of the Easter holidays.

Zannetou was accompanied by the commander of the 7th Mechanised Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Andreas Kelepeshis, as well as community leaders from Liopetri, Achna and Avgorou.

During the visit, the mayor exchanged Easter wishes with conscripts and members of the National Guard, expressing appreciation and gratitude for their service and dedication.

The visit took place in a ceremonial and festive atmosphere, with the mayor and his delegation speaking with soldiers and officers, wishing them a good service, strength and perseverance in their duties.
