A section of Patras Street in Yermasoyia remains fully closed as connection works continue for a new water reservoir pipeline, with reopening expected by Wednesday at 5.00pm.

Limassol municipality said the closure began last Friday, with works focused on linking the new Yermasoyia water reservoir pipeline to an existing water supply network running beneath the road.

The authority stated that “the complete closure of the road is deemed necessary” because the pipeline connection is located in the opposite traffic lane, making partial access unsafe during construction.

Drivers have been advised to follow alternative routes while works are underway, with the affected section clearly marked on site.
