The Met Office forecast largely clear skies across Cyprus on Monday, with temperatures climbing to around 39 degrees in Nicosia.

Clouds are expected over Troodos during the early afternoon, though conditions elsewhere should remain settled.

Winds will blow light to moderate through the day, picking up slightly along the Limassol by afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 31 degrees in Paphos, 35 degrees along Kyrenia and Famagusta, and around 30 degrees in the Troodos.

Overnight, skies will stay mostly clear, though patches of low cloud may develop along the coast, with fog predicted in Nicosia and Famagusta before dawn.

Temperatures will fall to around 21 degrees inland, 23 degrees on the coast and 19 degrees in the mountains.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring similar conditions, with isolated showers possible over Troodos, particularly on Tuesday and Thursday.

Temperatures will remain above seasonal averages throughout the week.
