As the world’s eyes turn to the commencement of the Tokyo Games this Friday, some athletes are already setting their sights on the next Summer Olympics, to be held in Paris, in 2024.
Why? Because that’s when breakdancing, or “breaking”, will have its official debut as an Olympic sport.
In this video, three of the world’s top competitive breakdancers, based in New York City, express their hopes of competing in the Games, and what the category inclusion will mean for the future of their discipline.
